Note that Leone (the only woman of the group) is the only one who grants her any agency or even anything to do beyond filling the viewer’s gaze; you could argue that Manara is trying to give an impression of the transgressive nature of her work and life, but his distanced slickness turns it into mere fetish porn, just another interior-free object.
